So it's been awhile. If I still lived in Northern California, I'd say it'd days. Hella days. In truth, it's been over two years. But I digress. I have been sewing like a fiend as of late (I made a 50s swing dress and a suit for my husband all in less than a month all while working nearly full-time). I've been knitting and crocheting in order to get certified as an instructor by the craft yarn council. I've also been experimenting with making jewelry and finding out just how long I can survive without food or sleep and yet still function*. See: making suit and dress while working, above.
*Note: the answer is an average of 6 hours of sleep a night and three meals every four days with occasional candy and copious amounts of coffee**.
**Note about the note: this can only be maintained for a month before side effects present.
I plan to start a reasonable regime of sewing and crafting on top of my regular life, in order to build up to my ultimate goal: starting an online clothing store. This blog, hopefully, will help, but considering I never was good at keeping a journal before, don't have high expectations of maintenance.
